Did you know that Caroline County boasts 78 miles of unpaved roads? C3's Scratch N Denton Gravel Grinder takes in 23.7 miles of glorious gravel and dirt lanes and farm tracks in its 53.9-mile total distance. There are thirteen separate gravel segments in all! When we're done with the ride, we'll gather at Eden Town Brewing Company where you can grab a chilly one to wash the dust out of your throat and recharge with tasty snacks from the Caroline's Table Food Truck! See you there!

  • This is a C3 members-and-invited guests-only club ride. Not a C3 member? Click HERE to learn more and join!

  • All riders must have signed C3 Waiver of Liability on file.

  • Ride is rain or shine (no rain date).

  • Check the weather, kit-out and dress appropriately (bring a change of clothes for after the ride.)

  • Helmets are required.

  • Headlights and taillights are strongly recommended.

  • Obey traffic signs and controls.

  • Roads have no shoulders; please ride toward right margin.

  • Most road surfaces are hard-packed tar and chip and generally quite good.

  • Give extra caution at road intersections and turns.

  • This ride is "self-supported."

  • THE FINE PRINT: As always, a helmet is required, a gravel/cx/all road bike in good mechanical condition with 32mm or wider tires is recommended, and a chill, positive attitude is preferred. You should have the route loaded onto your GPS device and be prepared to navigate the route on your own if necessary. You are expected to have the items and ability to repair a flat and a smartphone to ensure you're able to make your way back if you become separated from the group.​
