What's new at this year's event
Check-in has moved inside!
-
Located inside the main entrance — you'll spot the bike maintenance station right out front to guide you in. We're excited to introduce our new electronic check-in and to have bathrooms inside for your convenience.
Our own ice cream flavor is here. We've teamed up with Scottish Highland Creamery to create Tri-Berry — a blueberry, raspberry, and black currant ripple that's all ours. Make sure to grab a scoop!
We all love a challenge, whether it's your longest ride or a Strava segment KOM/QOM. So check out our C3 Ice cream sprint segment on Oxford Road.

Part of Chapel Road is closed this year, requiring detours on two routes. Please review the updated routes before ride day — do not rely on memory from previous years.

Download RideWithGPS before ride day — this is essential. Join the event to use the ridewithgps for free.
While we mark the course with ground arrows and yard signs, these are subject to outside conditions — weather, traffic, and other factors beyond our control can displace or obscure them. Do not rely solely on course markings. Download the RideWithGPS app, load your route ahead of time, and have it running on your phone on ride day. It is your most reliable navigation tool on the road.
The current Routes are in this email, on our ridec3.org and our runsignup page, and are all updated
C3 Participant Insurance and Deferral Options or Transfer to another person.
Tri-County Ice Cream Classic, Scratch N DentonRolling Donut Ride
Do you offer participant insurance?
Yes — all C3 rides offer optional participant insurance through Protect Regshield, an outside provider. Coverage applies to qualifying life events, such as family emergencies, illness, accidents, or job loss. C3 does not handle claims — all claims go directly through Protect Regshield.
Must be purchased at registration — not available afterward
What if I can't make it to the ride?
A deferral option is available for all events and can be purchased for any reason — no questions asked. This covers situations like weather, schedule changes, or anything else that may come up.
Can be purchased any time after registration
You can claim the deferral after the event, once it's posted, from your profile.
What qualifies for a Protect Regshield claim?
Coverage examples include family emergencies, illness, accidents, and job loss — but refer to Protect Regshield directly for the full list of qualifying events and claim procedures. C3 does not administer claims.
You can also transfer to another person; see the link below for instructions.
